O BAFTA Games Awards é único na indústria, pois é votado pelas pessoas que criam jogos. Isso significa que cada categoria é avaliada por especialistas em sua área. Pessoas que entendem as ambições e os desafios de criar jogos e têm um olhar diferenciado para a excelência nos jogos que jogam.
Os membros do BAFTA começarão a votar para decidir as nomeações finais para as categorias de Melhor Jogo e Jogo Britânico em janeiro, enquanto os júris do BAFTA votarão nas outras 15 categorias.
As indicações finais serão anunciadas em 4 de março de 2025, enquanto que a premiação em si ocorre em 8 de abril.
